Events

Our events sit at the heart of Pillow Talk Scotland. From sex-positive workshops to creative sessions and conversations rooted in Scotland’s cultural life, these gatherings offer space to learn, connect and grow together.

Over the past year, our events have brought hundreds of people together, many of whom return, invite friends, or continue exploring the topics we cover. It’s a testament to the supportive, curious community taking shape around Pillow Talk.

The sex positive book club

Join us for an open, welcoming evening of conversation and myth-busting around sex education, sexual health, and relationships.

Each month, we explore a chapter of thought-provoking literature — chosen collectively through our WhatsApp group — and meet at the Glasgow Zine Library on the last Tuesday of every month, 7–8.30pm.

Reading is optional; you’re always welcome to just come along for a chat!

You can find out about the venue’s accessibility by consulting the Glasgow Zine Library’s Access GuideIf you have any questions, send us an email at events@pillowtalk.scot.

Sex Ed for Grown Ups

Sex Ed for Grown Ups is a free, inclusive sex and relationships education programme for disabled adults (18+) in Glasgow, starting January 2026. Funded by the Agnes Hunter Trust and delivered by Pillow Talk Scotland and Three Sisters Consultancy, the 6-week course covers consent, healthy relationships, understanding your body, and disability and sex.

With 15 places available on a first-come basis, sessions will be held online or at an accessible Glasgow venue, with full accessibility support including BSL interpreters. Participants can attend all or selected sessions, and carers are welcome.

What attendees say

“Honestly the reading group is one of my highlights of the month. Such an inclusive group of people. And so much interesting conversation surrounding topics that aren't often highlighted.”

“I was pleasantly surprised that there is a variety of opinions, a gentle probing of ideas, humour yet a sense of seriousness, patience and generosity all around. There are not many opportunities for people to gather to explore these topics in an informal and respectful way. I really hope that this important work continues as it is an affirming and useful way to bouy one's mental health in the community.”
