Sex Ed for Grown Ups

Catch-up classes for adults with disabilities

A young woman leans her head on the shoulder of a young man in a wheelchair as they smile at a phone together by a riverside, sharing a warm, intimate moment.

Were you excluded from sex and relationships education at school?

Do you struggle to find accessible information about sex, relationships, and consent online?

Pillow Talk Scotland and Three Sisters Consultancy have been awarded funding from the Agnes Hunter Trust to deliver Sex Ed for Grown Ups — a free, inclusive programme of sex and relationships education for disabled adults across Glasgow.

We are recruiting 15 disabled adults (18+) to join our first series of workshops. This is the first time we are running these classes, so you will have the chance to help us shape the course in a participant-led way.

Two friends sit outside at a table, smiling and laughing while showing each other something on their phones. One holds a fidget toy.

Taster Sessions: Try it out first

Before the full programme begins, we are offering two free taster sessions for anyone who is interested:

  • In Person: Tuesday 30 September 2025, 11am–12pm, in Glasgow (accessible venue). Sign up here

  • Online: Thursday 2 October 2025, 7pm–8pm (via Zoom). Sign up here

These tasters are a chance to meet the team, learn more about what’s involved, and decide if the course is right for you.

The course

The full programme will run for 6 weekly sessions starting two weeks after the taster sessions (mid-October 2025).

We’ll confirm the time and location with participants — either online or at an accessible Glasgow venue — depending on what works best for the group.

Topics we’ll cover include:

  • Understanding your body

  • Consent

  • Healthy and unhealthy relationships

  • Disability and sex

You can attend all sessions, or just the ones that feel most useful to you. Carers and support workers are welcome too.

Who is it for?

We welcome:

  • Disabled adults aged 18+ (no upper age limit, though we’d like most of the group to be over 25)

  • People of all genders, sexualities, races, and backgrounds

  • All experiences of disability — no proof required

We will never pressure anyone to share personal experiences. You can join or leave sessions at any time, and we will always give content warnings in advance.
